Babies!

Salam'alayk...

Actually I just came back from Labour room.. Currently I am on day 3 (almost day 4) tagging in obstetric and gynaecology department. With tagging for 2 weeks in labour room, you meet nothing else than pregnant lady and newborn babies!

I am just excited to tell what happened today. I assisted 5 deliveries including 1 pair of twin! Fuh... So tiring after all that I passed another 2 deliveries for my colleague.

we finished our tagging at 10pm. When I decided to go back, I noted 1 patient is in labour , a twin pregnancy. Since I am really hope to observe this delivery, I asked my friend to call me if baby is ready to go out.

I went home. Just about 5 minutes walk from hospital. When I just arrived in front of my door, I got a called.
" Hello, opening is almost full. Come! " So I did ran to the labour room. Hoho.

Alhamdulillah, baby was not coming out yet. The best thing was all the housemen are seniors and no one was preparing to conduct. So, I did! Tehee.. Delivery went well except the second twin. The buttock came out first , but stuck at head. The mother almost loss all her energy. Started to stop pushing. The moment I saw the baby started gasping insides the opening, I was like going to cry. This baby was drowning insides!

So what we did, everyone in the room encouraged the mother as aggressive as we can. Even my voice was so strong like people in market. Huhu. " Madam, push! Stronger! Push the head out ! "

At last, my MO did manouver to pull out the head. Alhamdulillah, Head out. But the baby was not crying. I took the baby and ran to the resus bed. Paeds team came and stimulated the baby. Alhamdulillah, he cried and well. Admitted to baby's ward for observation. Huhu.

Alhamdulillah, and alhamdulillah. Although today was so tiring and even my legs started to be swollen and painful. I am happy that Allah s.w.t. planned a very memorable day for me.

Thank you Allah..

Now, my legs are so painful. can't even walk like usual.. Huu.. Somebody help. :(

Be careful with so-called Jonah

Salam'alayk..

Since working in hospital, I heard this term so-called " Jonah " so often. The first time I heard was when I was in university era's posted in Teluk Intan.

Jonah means too many cases, new admission or unexpected event keep on happening to the same person when he/she is on shift.

For example , like this fellow " Oh my, you are so Jonah today ! Too many admissions! "

Well, at first I found it funny to hear that. Yea, because there are some specific work mates who will have so many new patients when they are on call. And we keep on unconsciously having faith on what will happen if they are on call. Wards will be full!

Ironically, things must happen for reasons. Don't they? And the only one who is in charged of all these is Allah s.w.t. He decided that today, no admission. Tomorrow, lots of them. And next days, only about 2 or 3 admissions. Right? Him and only Him. It is not because of you are not Jonah, so most likely no admission/ no critical cases or few may be in. No. This has nothing to do with us.

Hopefully, people will realize this... :) We can joke, we can laugh but some things may be connected to our faith and believe to Him. Be careful okay? ;)

New star light

Salam'alayk..

Alhamdulillah.. Thank you Allah for this honorable gift.. I am beyond amazement. Alhamdulillah, I can take a deep breath for now.. Fuhh..  My current posting is ending so soon and here come new posting! Tafaddhol~

Being a doctor is not an A, B or C. It has never been easy.
But, being a good and confident doctor is forever challenging.
I dreamt and keep on dreaming of being one. One day, InshaAllah..

I had once decided to leave this path,
but I realised, Allah must have planned a big beautiful life for me far in front, why can't I wait and trust Him?
Now, my steps are going forwards..
Leaving marks behind to be guidance and good memories

People can never be what we wish they should be
Accept, adapt and work on
Believe of capability

Being a new one, have faith!

Amin ya Allah..
Help me be one of them who are successful and loved by You..

A horror feel

Salam'alayk

Yesterday, when the hospital announced a " white coat alert " for housemen, that means, there is a postmortem is going to be held in the forensic department.

I went, with my work mates. There, I saw a fresh dead body lying onto the postmortem table. Uncountable numbers of wounds and fractures. It was an allerged motor vehicle accident. A car vs lorry. He was just a young man, single man some more.

Nothing else popped out from my mind. It keeps thinking that " What will happen if it was me? " It was just an empty body in front of my eyes. Not moving. His eyes opened with blank stare.

How about of it was me who had that accident? A dead body of me lying on the road with bleeds. Nau'dzubillah..

The scary feeling that I felt. When I was looking at his hands, legs, and etc. I was thinking , " what was this hand be used for? Had it be used for good or bad things? Had this leg be used wisely? "

And I keep thinking of mine too.. Oh no.. How do I return back to Him with very very small good deeds..
Okay, I think I am going to cry now..

The Prophet Muhammad SAW:
"Increase the rememberance of  things that destroy flavor (in which DEATH)"
(Hasan Hadith narrated by al-Tirmidhi)

Don't forget your ground

Salam'alayk..

Alhamdulillah.. I just finished Asr prayer in a 'surau' inside the building im working..
a peace of mind, with a sun shone through the window.. I found happiness.. Within this empty room, with only me and Him..

The bliss and pleasure when u want to concentrate to your prayer.. I always choose a room that's less people and even better, no one..

Working in this field, when people are calling you Doctor.. Especially from people older than you, I feel nothing else than humble.. They are mothers, maybe grannies of someone.. I shouldn't be treated so higher up because we are just human in Allah's eyes.. Nothing comparable except Iman and Taqwa..

People's mind will not be upgraded if they don't settle a day with reflection.. As do I..
I always charmed and amazed by Professors.. There is one that I crosses my mind now.. Prof Harlina Harliza.. I really wish one day, I will grow up as someone vocal, determine, and ambitious as her.. InshaAllah..

Although minimal, If I put my mind to grow up little and little by day.. One day, I will be someone I trust and inspire.. amin..
