Decoupage Art

I and art is inseparable. I love art so much, and easily attracted in any kind of arts that are symbolizing peace and harmony. The world of art is so wide and I believe there are still a lots of them I haven't known about. Almost 3 years ago, I came to know about arts of painting. Not only painting on the drawing block or on the wall, but for arty people, they can paint any where they want beautifully.

I came to know decoupage painting which the painter draw and paint woods. If you came across a shop selling home decoration, you must search for decoupage, they are so beautiful. When I noted that my aunts have this talent of painting woods, rocks, and many more, have the feeling to try.

I know I am a medical student, and yet so much of books and guidelines I have to read but I can't resist to explore this world. Allah s.w.t. has so many specialities including creating so many wonderful sceneries (and of course His 'painting' all are alive) and He grants some of us His talent. Do you get what I mean? ;)

Decoupage is one of the arts that I am eager to learn. Some places provide classes and of course they are costly. Maybe around RM200 plus because of the items used are all expensive. But, I will put it in my list. Maybe not for now but I will one day InshaAllah... :)

A simple handmade frame

How are you everyone? I hope all of you are in a good health, InshaAllah.. :)

One of my habit is, I like to change my room's arrangement. Every year, I will rearrange my furnitures and decorations so that I can have a different view every year. Same goes to this new year, I mean my new education year, I already rearranged my room..

Final year sure promise us hectic days and great challenges ahead. So, I intended to decorate my walls with frames of photos and motivation words.

With a low budget, I captured my own photos, printed with a lower price ( RM2.50 per A4 size, cheap right? :D) , and made a handmades frame. Frame nowadays sure expensive. An A5 sizes frame costs you about RM5 and above. How about an A4 photo? Faint. Never mind, I found a way to frame my photos. ;)

What am I doing?

Easy and nice. The better the paper's type, the better the quality of it's result..

Swim little swimmy

alhamdulillah.. last night, I managed to practice swimming in the pool.. :) Me, and my 3 friends went to our college's pool and swim there for almost 2 hours.. My wishlist for swimming done! :D I just hope i can swim better that yesterday.. Yesterday was the second session I had practice, monitored by my friend.. They all can swim! oh jealousy~ :( 

so, what do you think about swimming? Is it an important skill must to be learnt? I must say YES.. because we don't know when danger will come.. flooding.. or even we see someone in the river asking for help.. Start learning now.. ;) That's why I really wanna learn swimming.. The other profit for myself is a good exercise, breathing strengthening, & a great enjoyment.. 

How do we can really swim? My friend told me.. 

First : Learn how to control breathing in water.

Second : Learn how to float in water without support

Third : Learn different types of leg movement.. I only able to do ' frog kick'.. Next session I will learn 'paddle' .

Forth : Learn how to move hands. 

Fifth : Learn how to take breath while swimming. ( most difficult! )

Sixth : Practice swimming from North to South of the pool. ( I did this as 3rd but stopped at the middle just to take breath.. :P lalala~ )

Next! Aim for step 5th.. Ganbatte neh!

p/s : seriously, swimming at night is somehow joy, because we can float while looking at the night sky and counting the stars... just, don't do it too frequent.. ;)

My Other Hobby..

salam dear readers.. ;)

today is my first day posting in Anesthesiology department.. its only for 2 weeks.. fiuhh.. a lots of devices and drugs that i need to learn , remember and carry these knowledge for the rest of my life.. Anesth by its term is a loss of sensation or inability to feel the pain.. But by itself is a life supporter or maybe life saver! (oh please, maybe supporter is a better word i think.. since Allah is the obly saver.. ;) and... i dont know why during this busy hours..  my this one hobby is stimulating me to spend time with it.. :P 

in the evening, while the guys are playing football or futsal, and the ladies spent their time by jogging at the lake garden.. i am in my room, sitting and focusing on something tiny and interesting.. i figured out this new hobby since last year.. and i love it so much.. guess what? 

it is crafting! yummy.. :D

I really love to play with craft and colors.. You are free to create anything you want and express your creativity.. i am still newbie too.. there are lots of awesome crafters outside.. i just made a simple one so that i can make more pieces in a shorter time.. ( a medical student some more.. huhu.. )

when i am sewing these craft, then my friend called.. she just went back from Philippine for an exchange program there.. i wanted to go but then my mom does not allow me to.. ;( so, she brought me some gifts from Philippine! yippy~.. :D thanks my friend.. i really appreciate them! She gave me a special made cookies/snacks and a key chain made in Philippine.. those snacks are delicious and finished before i take any picture of it.. huhuhu..

i like to play with colors and match them up.. different tone of colors give different effect and catchy on the picture.. :) do you agree? the red background also known as bright tone give a bigger contrast to the picture than in the pink one which is known as soft tone.. (oh.. i use my own description and philosophy of colors.. hee..)
