Hibernating Phase

This Thursday will be my official long days leave. 2 weeks earlier than my due date for delivery. And 2 weeks more to go does not sound like far away right? But, I can say I am not 100 percent ready for it. Or even 90's. The emergency bag is ready to grab on , with a hardworking and takes time to prepare it .. There will always be things missed or forgotten to buy. *sweats * And even having some painful Braxton Hicks contraction made me misinterpret it as labor contraction pain.

Which, made me realized... To be well known about pregnancy and delivery will not promise you to fully understand the reality of it until you experience it yourself. You cannot judge a patient in pain if you never experience it yourself. And you cannot judge patient's defaulting or difficulty of compliance when it is reasonable.

I have seen scenes of delivery with a lot of tensions. The struggling that the patient faced and the medical practitioners need to face. We get frustrated when patients are not cooperative and we need to scold/shout to get them into the correct way to deliver. And the patient get frustrated when they are being scolded/shouted to.

However, once we understood the patient's pain and the struggle they need to go through. We should how to treat them appropriately and according to the correct emotions.

Well well, how far I've gone out of the topic..

2 more weeks to go. Let's pray that the delivery will be smooth and easy going. InshaAllah..
Looking forwards for a new family member soon. ;)

New department, confusion!

Salam'alayk ,

Alhamdulillah, being blessed with a smooth future tracking. Self reporting day - done!
I am now a medical officer working in General Hospital of Kuala Lumpur. This place is in a total change. While the renovating works are going on, people still busy walking around as usual.

Surprisingly, my new department is not one of a full clinical based department. It is a transplant unit and basically with be managing organ donations and promotion events.
At first, I was in a confusion. Is this the right department for me? I wished to be in ophthalmology so that I can further proceed to specialize as ophthalmologist.

Now it seems to be further away~

But the good things are, I will gain so much new experiences in counter with grieving of the death's families, interacting with the surgeons, be confident in giving talks.. who knows these exposure do help me in future for my future career. Allah always knows the best.
InshaAllah. Amin

Let's all prays for our best. ;)

" Do we have to stay in that homestay again..? I'm boring when you have to work while im staying alone.. They don't even have interesting thing inside like astro.. Their TV also only have 1 channel partially working..  "

She just smiled and said..
" Hee... what to do.. another 4 months to go. Let hold this till the end okay.. ? "

He agreed..

But deep insides his wife heart..
She wanted to find a better place to for her husband to stay while she is working..

81 days

Alhamdulillah..
We live as husband and wife for 81 days.. Sounds few days right.. It may be significant if I say 3 months old age of our marriage.

Alhamdulillah , thank you Allah..
And more grateful as He granted us with a little one..
Hopefully it will grow up well and safely delivered to our world..
Insha Allah aminnn..

My morning sickness was quite bad..
I did not vomit much
But I did not each much also, due to the nauseous feeling inside my throat..
All day long..

Being in cafe/restaurant is like being tortured
Delicious aroma smells like some terrible dishes
I will run away from being close to those places ..  -.-

And being in the ward
With infected wounds and all
Being tortured again.. T.T

And the most disappointment
People could not understand your condition
And they thought that you are just being lazy and rest all day

I can just say..
Let see how you are doing when your turn is next..
Let see.. * sarcastically*

And currently,
I able to take orally
Better than before
But still with limits
Hopefully the sickness will leave me soon..

No matter hard I am facing daily life right now..
Deep inside me..
There is none of my thought saying i will regret..
That's a mother heart I think.. ;')

Hopefully things will get better..
Another 4  months to go before I will go back to KL..
And start our daily husband and wife life..
We have been a weekend husband and post night call off wife life still now.. Hihi..

Till then
Take care..

Sobbs.. It will be difficult to go both of the wedding ceremonies, one in Perlis and one in K.L. Since my mom and the rest is going to Miss Aini's wedding in Perlis, I will go to Miss Rahmah's wedding in K.L.. Yet, I haven't buy present for themm.. Oh no.. So little of time left already.. -.-

Miss Rahmah also requested me to be her lady photographer in her wedding.. Oh my, can I do it? What kind of attire should I wear then... Hmm, let see.. It should be an easy going one right.. Cannot wear Kurung/Jubah then.. Ok, let's figure out on that day.. ^^

Eid Al-fitr

Salam'alayk...

Alhamdullillah, today will be the last day of Ramadhan... Sobs.. ;( I haven't feel enough doing good deeds in this Ramadhan.. but, it has to say good bye after this Maghrib..

Alhamdulillah, after 1 and a half month spending full time for work, I have my opportunity to spend my time with my family. I even asked my mom to take leave on Friday just so that we can go shopping together, our whole family.. Love!

Unfortunately, the happiness doesn't stay much longer as I have to go back to work starting the second day of Eid.. ;'( sobs again...

Hopefully, Allah will grant us whoever sacrificed our own leisure just to perform duty as a Muslim and a human being in this world. Although I can feel the tiredness left insides me but, we can't be selfish and take a long off days just to spend extra time with family while our colleague have to suffer doing extra working alone. Don't we? No no. I hope, to withstand tiredness and do our best as a Muslim worker also is called Jihad because we do things responsibly and doing with intention to get bless from Allah, Insha Allah..

Let's do our best and withstand this sadness and unhappiness. Ganbatte neh..! :')

I wish you all dear Muslims out there, Salam 'Eid Al-Fitr' and hopefully this year it will be a blessful month to use, inshaAllah..

Till then, take care... :)

Ramadhan still here

Salam’alayk brothers and sisters,

Alhamdulillah, Ramadhan is still with us, shines is brightful bless from Allah s.w.t, buckets of loves and sincere dedications for Him and a lot on going promotions for good deeds.

This month, a month specially dedicated for Quran, Faith, Patience, Determination, Funding and most, for a special day called Lail Al-Qadr. May Allah s.w.t. grant us to experience this special night than all nights, a night where our beloved prophet, Muhammad s.a.w. had an unbelievable and honorable moment to be brought over the 7 skies to meet Him, Allah.

Alhamdulillah, in this lovely Ramadhan, I was blessed with more off days, where free times are offering for good deeds and adding up new knowledge. I thought, with busy days as a housemen doctor will be a dull Ramadhan for me, but indeed Allah gives some more!

Yesterday, I was invited to an Iftar (a dinner to breakfast) by a newly known naqibah. (a teacher and guider of our usrah- an informal happy circle for Islamic and deeds discussion). So, we (me and my bestfriends) attended the event. Subhanallah, a total of 20 plus sisters, although we are not being tied by blood or genetics, but this ukhuwwah tied by faith in Allah and Islam has made us (me, bestfriends, naqibah and newly known sisters) knowing each other and be closed to. Holding hands, hugs, eating together and perform prayers in Jam’ah. I love it. Totally a peaceful and heartwarming scenery.

And a tazkirah (sharing reminders) by naqibah’s husband knocked my memory. Allahu’akhbar, didn’t Ramadhan is about reciting Quran, learn about Jihad and many more? It is totally different from the other months! We are fasting from desire, greed, feeling weak, anger and bad thoughts. The specialness of this Ramadhan is depending on our hearts. To believe this Ramadhan is special and work for it or to let it pass through like the other months. It totally depends on us. Do we lack of knowledge? Learn! Do we lack of realization? Find!

Alhamdulillah, today is like a gloomy day for hearts who are remembering Him and doing their best to be closer to Him, reciting Quran, funding who in needs, and do many more good deeds. They are not gloomy because of sadness, but because of the feelings they have in heart and mind, ‘we are owned by Allah s.w.t. but still do little good deeds’.

I love this kind of feeling, which makes me to keep on improving. I am no way to have a perfect Iman, but I will do my best as a Mukminul Muslimah, Insha Allah. Let’s do our best and grab this chance to the utmost, brothers and sisters!

Let’s start funding the poor.
Let’s start recite Quran every single day.
Let’s talk less and read more.
Let’s Ibadah more and play less.
Let’s go! ;”)

Shift starto~

Salam'alayk readers!

Alhamdulillah, I am in the hospital's quarters again... My health is improving, alhamdulillah and hopefully I can do well in working again tonight. Night shift in an active ward? The senior housemen sure feel sorry for me because I am still in recovery period, but I will try my best. Now is not the time to be weak although your physical is being tested by Him.. (I know You did it because You want me to learn new things.. right my one and only God? ;") )

And, the lucky thing is after night shift, I will have 2 days off. Alhamdulillah, there are still time left for resting and recovery. Your will is powerful yet your faith to Allah is the best most powerful.. ;)

At my hometown these few days, we (my family) accidentally recalled back how hard our lives had been if past few years when my mom rode to my boundary school to send food for sale and the income gone to my pocket money... Sobbbsss.... :'( I have no reason to grant my mother wish.. Hopefully this one coming is the first and more to come, Insha Allah..

May I have strength to continue working and at the same time improving as a Muslim doctor, Amin Ya Rabb...

Have to go although lots to share.. Till then, take care..

Salam Ramadhan brothers and sisters,
use this time ultimately for iftar and ibadah together.
Find the sweetness in ukhuwah and in Islamic community...

First posting

Salam'alayk..

This house sounds empty and lonely. Everybody else are going back their hometown but I decided to stay. Being alone in this big quarters with 3 big rooms, I just keep reminding myself to be brave and steady. Thinking of my new posting is going to start so soon, I am so nervous!

The first ever posting will be in Medical Ward which, patients with internal organs illnesses are warded. Well, for us to be posted in Medical Ward first, our knowledge will definitely be tested! Oh no, I have to do a lot of revisions. They are so so lots. . From head to toe, neurology (brain and nerve), respiratory (lung), cardiology (heart and blood vessels), gastroenterology (stomach, intestine, etc), urology (urinary) and many more.... How much I do regret not to behave like a medical doctor in my student life. Now,we have to be ready for any kind of cases... O.O . Report to work will be on this Monday, 7 am... Err..

Don't worry, although a big challenge is ahead of me. I have no thought of losing or giving up. Will try hard to do my bestest best, Insha Allah. Due to this reason, I decided to stay-alone. Sobbs.. A list of patient's illnesses in ward are already jotted down. Now, it's time to read and reorganize my thought.. I know, at the very least I do enjoy being busy with works and lots of things to learn.

O Allah, help me to be a competent good safe doctor. Amin Ya Rabb...

The Gasping Hour

Salam'alayk brothers and sisters,

Nisfu Sya'aban just left us and Ramadhan is counting days to come. Have we ready? We have to, right.. Let's do our best~ Insha Allah.

Today was the 4th day of our orientation as a new house officer. This hospital do have information system via internet and we are no longer using totally papers anymore to do patient's case note and etc. It's all about typing and clicking.  We had great experiences dealing with this kind of system in UKM's hospital in our university, previously. Now, we are kind of already used to it. Alhamdulillah.Will do our best in making it a routine here.

Something happened today in meeting. Although it was not totally directed to me, but I do feel bad for my best friend. We thought of the same thing, and when what we thought were actually wrong. I felt guilty for not preventing or advise. Thinking of her right now, my tears almost came out. Please don't, eyes...

It's kind of funny thinking how much I have been changed this few years. The one that I used to be was a self-centered person. And of course, to feel sad or being dragged together with the same feeling as my friends had never been in my quest. But now, I have a softer heart when it comes about friends and family. I felt what they felt. ;'( Have my heart became so big? Yet, I never know the best way to show.. Crying behind, is the only way I know..

So, about what happened today. People do mistakes. And people will always be mistaken for what they said too. They kept misunderstood things. Feeling hurt is not the best way to deal, but we have no choice. It's the nature of human's heart. We need time to heal, right? Take your time but next, we have to sit upright again and reflect about it. Why was this happening to us? I always said to my inner self to cheer up, " Things happened for good reasons. " Allah s.w.t. is teaching, HE is telling something which part we should improve, to become more mature and well prepared. Didn't we prayed to HIM that,

"Allahumma, 'alimna ma jahilna, wa dzakkirna ma nasiina"

" O Allah, teach us what we do not know, remind us what we did forgotten "

Why are we being sad when He did what we asked for?   -.-" We have to do reflection..
O Allah, help us to be thankful of what You did for us and You will do from now on.. Amin..

An Absolute Question

Salam'alayk~

Being a 24 year old lady, nothing that you could expect from elders to ask, other than this absolute question. "When are you getting married? " Well, I don't have a great answer for now. I did ask myself too. When am I getting married? Wallahu'alim.. But I do have a dream to own a lovely beautiful family life.

It looks like my prince charming is having traffic jam on his way here. A lot of traffic lights maybe? Or accidents blocking? Or his car may needs some rearrangement. Kidding. I have no idea. I usually answered like this " Wallahu'alim, that fate is still in His hand. It will come when the right time come. "

I doubt to start searching. I am afraid of doing the wrong step. All I can do is praying that the right man will come and propose to be my ever 'best friend'. Who is totally sincere, having faith and will do his best improving himself as a good servant to Allah, taking care of his Iman and Taqwa. Insha Allah, the other roles as human being will be in his good care. I pray that he will have a great sustaining strength and patience. Amin Ya Rabb.

I will do my best too from my part. Insha Allah. Will keep on improving.

Cloudy Foggy

Salam'alayk brothers and sisters,

Alhamdulillah, all these past two days were smooth and sweetly sailing. And, today will be our third day of orientation as a new fresh house officer. Our new posting is going to be informed this becoming Friday and we will start tagging in Monday except for Surgery which will start on Saturday.

You can say that we are being nervous and excited to know which posting is going to be ours and who are our teammates.. ^^ anything is fine for me, as it is the best plan of Allah s.w.t. , Insha Allah I will try my best..  Insha Allah.

Being together with another 16 of the same university friends, including my two best best buddy sisters, Alhamdulillah I am so speechless with this gift from Allah... ;') Thank you Allah! We are like a big family with brothers and sisters all together sharing the same hospital's roof.. Hee..

Hopefully, all of us will be granted with the best posting, seniors, nurses, patients and etc. that suit us the best.. Insha Allah, Amin Ya Rabb.. Lets do our best, can we? ;') Ganbatte neh~

Oh, the cloudy fog our at our house is just so big and thick! Where is the camera? XD

2nd July 2012

Salam'alayk..

Alhamdulillah, the induction already finished last Friday. And now I am heading to my new workplace. Today will be the first day of posting as a house officer. Nervous, fast heart beating, sad... You name it. All the feelings mixed and jumbled up.

A place I once stepped in 2008, now a place that I will spend for the entire 2 years from now. Hopefully, everything will be just fine as how Allah has planned. Hereby, will be the shaping years of me as a medical doctor. Hopefully, it will shape me being a competent good and safe Muslim doctor. Insha Allah..

O Allah, I let my becoming days going on in Your Hand and I will do my best in each days. Guide me, Allah..
Amin Ya Rabb..

Awesome Moresome

Salam'alayk~

Alhamdulillah.. It was totally an awesome event we had been involved! ^^,Y  Being a part of a running challenge event team of Standard Chartered Bank, I felt totally amazed of how much we had involved, and watched over the whole agenda.

Had to deal with very little time of rest before coming to Dataran Merdeka, we went to bed at 10 pm. Woke up at 12 am, we got ready to Global Doctors Centre in Mont Kiara. With amount of only 2 hours bedtime sleep, you can just imagine how were we walking and sitting while our mind were in between of dreamworld and reality... ~.~ we did felt asleep too at the booth..

Then, with about 10 plus cars and ambulans, we arrived at Dataran Merdeka. Hundreds of runners gathered. Waiting for their turn to start runn ing. At 4 am in the morning, the first group which had a full marathon of 42 km (!) length was got off to the track. The funny thing is, there were several runners wearing costume like Banana man, White Carrot, Saxophone and many more. One of a father brought his son together on a stroller. So sweet~

The event ended about 12.30 pm in that hot and sweaty afternoon. Alhamdulillah, the most severe case we had was a runner was brought in with chest discomfort and following the ECG, there was no sign of heart attack but he was sent to HKL for a proper monitoring and observation . Most of the cases were muscle cramps, and collapse due to exhaustion. Some were due to muscle sprain, blisters and vomiting..

All patients were managed accordingly and discharged well. ^^ This opportunity really geared up our leisured body after 3 months holiday. Now, we are preparing for real works and duties! Thank you Allah. I did learn new thing and realized some weak points.

I will try to improve and be a better doctor.. Insha Allah!
